Week 2 of the Northway Pantry done!
This Wednesday, we saw 10 families. That’s a total of 20 children and 16 adults (plus pets, of course!) who will all have food, groceries and a few extra goodies thanks to the generous donations given by all of our wonderful supporters.
On Wednesday, we gave out over 120 items, plus bread, milk, veg, fruit, fridge and frozen food. These numbers show why it’s so important that we maintain our stock, and why your donations are so appreciated. Our membership is rising and we have more families coming forward for help.
We also had some 'Warm and Well' bags donated by the Gloucester based charity. These contained socks, blankets, gloves, hats etc and our families were very grateful for these.
Special thanks to all the volunteers who worked hard today, your time was hugely appreciated. Thanks also to Bredon Spa shop, who donated some surplus food. Also thanks to Priors Park Pantry, who shared their surplus fresh stock with us.
Thanks to Hazel and John who bought us in some groceries the day before our Wednesday shopping day. Your support means so much to us!
